‘Waqt Na Raha’ poem speaks of love that was real but unspoken. Two hearts felt the same, but fear, hesitation, and hope for ‘tomorrow’ go in the way. The person waited too long to express their emotions, trusting time that never promised anything. Now, though they are physically close, the emotional connection is lost. The right moment passed – and with it, the chance to truly connect.

क्यों इंतज़ार किया,
ज़िन्दगी के डोर छूट जाने का I
मोहब्बत तो उसे भी थी,
फिर क्यों बयां नहीं किया वक़्त पर,
दिल के जज़्बातों का I
उसे कल का पता न था,
फिर भी कल पर ऐतबार किया I
आज उसकी बाहों में तो था, उसका वजूद I
पर उसकी दिल की बात ,
उसके दिल तक पहुँचने का,
वक़्त न रहा I
