ज़रूरी नहीं
ये साल तेरी ज़िंदगी का
बेहतरीन साल हो
इस साल भी तेरे आँसू बहेंगे
इस साल भी
तू खुद को कभी-कभी डूबता हुआ पाएगा
इस साल भी तुझे हालात के सामने झुकना पड़ेगा
पर तू इन सब के बावजूद
जब खड़ा रहेगा
बिना किसी डर के आगे बढ़ता रहेगा
हालात के सामने झुकने को हार नहीं
नये मौके की तरह लेगा
और धुंध भरा सैलाब
तुझे जब डुबाने की तैयारी कर रहा हो
तो हिम्मत की पतवार लिए उसका सामना करेगा
और दिल में मोहब्बत लिए
मोहब्बत बाँटता चलेगा
तो हर रोज़ पहले से बेहतर खुद
को महसूस करेगा
हो सकता है ये साल तेरी ज़िंदगी का बेहतरीन
साल ना हो
पर ये साल तू खुद को पिछले कई सालों से बेहतर पाएगा
